Corfu Events

This year’s festival is dedicated to Ioannis Kapodistrias, whose life and work profoundly influenced the history of Europe in the 19th century. We enter the kitchens, taste the flavours and listen to the music of the early 19th century from the cities where Kapodistrias lived.

The Chefs Club cook dishes revealing the history of the Corfu and the rest of the Ionian Islands. Corfu wineries showcase their new wines (harvest of 2018) The philharmonics and choirs perform to highlight the influence of the Eptanese School in music.

Esplanade (Spianada) is famed as ‘the largest square in the Balkans’ and owes its existence to a strategic manoeuvre.
