Chef Giuseppe Galardi

In synergy with Coldiretti Veneto, Marco Polo System takes part at the first edition of Corfu Food & Wine Festival 2018 with chef Mr. Giuseppe Galardi, owner of Osteria Ai Assassini, in the heart of Venice, close to Piazza San Marco. Giuseppe Galardi, that will cook dishes coming from Venetian tradition, with surprising links with Greek-Ionian kitchen, influenced by the period of the “Serenissima Repubblica”, has been leading his restaurant for 30 years and he is one of the most representative chef of Venetian tradition, being Ai Assassini the first “km0” (with certified high use of typical local and traditional products) restaurant in Venice, according to regional legislation. Giving day by day new life to the tradition of “bacaro” (historical food-place of Venice), Galardi represented Venetian and Veneto culinary tradition at Shanghai Expo in 2010. Recently, Osteria Ai Assassini was protagonist of the broadcast “Dove”, within the international media platform Sky. Giuseppe Galardi is also president of Tourism Section of Venetian Trade Association (ASCOM).

European Silk Road and its pilot action MedTaste will be presented by Marco Polo System founder and ceo Mr. Pietrangelo Pettenò and by communication manager Mr. Alberto Cotrona, who follows network’s management.
